Chris Jordan's Recovery

Donation protected
My name is Michelle Jordan and on Aug 7th 2015 I married the greatest man I have ever met Chris Jordan. Chris is Smart, funny, loyal, trustworthy, talented, and I could really go on forever. He always thinks about others before himself and when someone needs him he is there to help.  In June 2015 Chris started a great new job and on October 11th 2015 he turned 30.
New Job, just got married and turned 30, how could anything else be better.

The day after Chris's 30th Birthday something unexpected happened. At night Chris was complaining of a really bad headache and was rushed to the ER. As soon as the ER saw him they knew exactly what was going on and called an ambulance to rush him right over to Robert Wood Johnson Hospital. He went right into surgery for a Brain Aneurysm and during the surgery he had a stroke on the left side of his brain. In the begining he couldnt walk , talk, or even open his eyes. He was hooked up to different machines that when I saw him i just prayed he would be alright.
From being in the ICU, to the Brain Trauma unit, and then a Rehabilitation Center now Chris can walk with help from a cane and sometimes a wheelchair.  Due to the stroke being on the left side it effected the right side of his body. His right arm and right leg are what need the most rehab. The doctors say his brain is telling the muscles to over fire in the right arm and right leg which makes them lock up and get really tight. He did get Botox injections which is helping his hand  relax but needs more for his leg.Thankfully his memory is still there and his personality, its just learning how to talk again and form sentences but he is doing more and more each day. The Doctors say it is 6 months to a year for a full recovery and even after that year little things could still come back as long as we work hard on them.
Right now we are trying to get into another Rehabilitation Center at JFK to get more help for his lanuage and body. Even though we have only be married for 5 months our life is filled with Doctor appointments , Rehab Centers, Mediciation, Hospitals, and keeping
control of his High Blood pressure.
This money would help us with the bills from the Hospitals, Rehablitation Centers now and more to come down the road, Mediciation, equipment he needs and just everyday things he needs to help him. I love my husband with all my heart and would do anything to help him. I pray for him everyday and I am so Thankful I still have him in my life. I know it is going to be a long road but I know he can do it and he is working hard. I would appricate any help we could get and would be so thankful for anything. Please take care of the ones you love and live life thinking positively
