Christopher Wells Memorial Scholarship Fund

Founded in 1982, The Chris Wells Memorial Scholarship Fund honors one of Abington's finest student athletes who was killed in an accident shortly after graduating Dartmouth College.
To date, over $137,000 in scholarships have been awarded to graduating seniors and another ~$343,000 is held in custody in a Fidelity Investment account, professionally managed by American Wealth Advisors, a wealth advisory services provider owned and operated by one of Chris’s childhood friends. The funds have been raised through annual fundraising events over the last 36 years!
Chris's friends and classmates have a goal of getting this fund to a minimum of $500,000 which would generate on average approximately $20,000 - $30,000 annually in scholarships to graduating seniors in perpetuity for the town .
Please help us achieve this goal for the students of Abington High.
