Crazy Christmas Wagon Ride For Hope

Chances are those that live in Rhode Island or Southern Massachusetts may have seen this crazy car driving around blinking like Clark Griswold’s house from Christmas Vacation. This car belongs to The Messier Family, led by West Warwick Town Councilman Jason K. Messier, Rhode Island’s resident Saint Nick and his children Autumn & Jacoby. Himself, along with his kids took his 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe and turned it in a “Santa Sleigh” by decking it out from bumper to bumper in 30 strings of lights, 560 light bulbs, 2 beautiful wreaths, 75 AA batteries, over 75 feet of garland, more than 7 rolls of duct tape, 2 blinking snow flakes many hours of manual labor, love and a whole a lotta Christmas Spirit, to create what they dub; The Crazy Christmas Wagon.
Over the past three Christmases the Crazy Christmas Wagon has adopted over 110 families and 236 children! Which was AMAZING! This year, monies used will help us help the helpers! They seem to get overlooked in this holiday madness. This includes; charity organizations running toy drives, food drives, clothing drives, police, fire, EMT, hospitals and many, many more! What does help mean? It means perhaps, randomly showing up with Pizza, soda or a meaningful gift in the Crazy Christmas Wagon! Just to let these people know WE APPRECIATE YOU! Simple right? But letting others know they are appreciated is so important. Most of these tokens of appreciation will not be expensive in price but I’ve set up the gofundme to help finically back as many of these endeavors as possible. Though I believe many local businesses will come forward and help with this process, this will help.
Also, while the Messier family is far from politically correct, this car is ALL INCLUSIVE in its holiday cheer! Those of all faiths and religions are encouraged to enjoy the good will it spews forth. Whether you celebrate Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Festivus or don’t celebrate anything at all, the Crazy Christmas Wagon welcomes you to enjoy the spirit behind it anyway. You don’t have to celebrate a particular holiday to wish good will upon your fellow man or woman. But don’t get us confused, it is still now and always will be the Crazy CHRISTMAS Wagon, we just welcome EVERYONE to enjoy the love it exudes!
