Chokzin Family Tragedy

Dear Family, Friends, Neighbors and Community,
On the evening of Sept 11, 2017 my neighbor's youngest son was tragically killed in a hit and run car accident at approximately 730pm. The accident occurred in the street in front of my house and I witnessed the tragedy unfold moment by moment.
The driver has since turned himself into authorities and is cooperating fully.
Tenzin Chokzin was only 2 years old and 9 months.
His family moved into the neigborhood just a short time after my own family moved here. Both being new to the neighborhood, we bonded. My young son Jonah played with Tenzin's older brother Kunga all summer, riding bikes, swimming, shooting nerf guns and in the evenings they would yell back and forth to each other over the fences across the street. Jonah would often tell me "Kunga's little brother follows us all over the house". Of course! What little brother doesn't want to be a part of everything!!
Tenzin's family has suffered a loss no family would ever want to experience. My wish in putting together this Go Fund Me page is that the financial burden from this horrible accident be lifted from their shoulders. Please join me in donating to help pay for anything this family may need during this difficult time. That may be food, gas, all the memorial items.....AND please see the statement from the family below. My greatest prayer is that we as friends, neighbors, community, county, state, country and world could live with and give the grace and compassion this family demonstrates and so freely gives.
If a monetary donation is not doable at this time, PLEASE lift this family and sweet little boy Tenzin up in prayer. God is GOOD and He will wrap his arms around this family.

I spoke with Tenzin's uncle this evening. I was shown another demostration of this family's profound ability to give and think of others after my phone call to him.
Tenzin's parents Konchok and Tashi have requested all the money raised be donated to a children's charity in honor of Tenzin.
At the end of the fund raiser, all that is collected will be donated to Children's Hospital in honor and memory of Tenzin Chokzin.
My deepest respects to this amazing family. What an awesome example to us all and how profound their love for Tenzin.
