Choir tour to South Africa

My choir, the Minnesota Chorale, will be traveling to South Africa from Aug. 11-20 to perform with the Minnesota Orchestra in celebration of Nelson Mandela's 100th anniversary.
I feel fortunate to be among 50-some singers making the journey, but it will come at a cost of $3,400 (plus incidentals). I hope to raise at least half of that total from this crowdfunding campaign.
I don't have the ability to pay all of this out of pocket, but I might not get another chance. The Chorale doesn't tour often, and rarely overseas. People have heard me talk about Chorale quite a bit since I joined in 2009, so hopefully you know how important this is to me.
