Chimney Fire Animal Relief Fund

Chimney Fire Animal Relief is helping to provide relief to animals and animal owners displaced by the Chimney Fire. Donations received will be used for animal food, supplies, vaccines, boarding, and veterinary care.

The Chimney Fire is located in the Running Deer Road, Chimney Rock Road, south of Lake Nacimiento, and is spreading. Currently Chimney Fire has grown to 24,096 acres and is 35% contained. The fire has destroyed 48 structures, damaged 7, and is threatening at least 332 homes and structures. Communities under the mandatory evacuation order are Cal Shasta, Rancho de Lago, South Shore Village, Christmas Cove, Oak Shores and Bryson Hesperia in both San Luis Obispo and Monterey County. Any unused donations will be donated to victims of the other California fires, Woods Humane Society and other non-profit organizations yet to be determined.
