We all know what has been happening in Tamil Nadu over the last one month. Even more, the last one week has been a disaster in Chennai.
Today's report suggests that more than 260 people have lost their lives. The Government of India has released a 1000cr package. But that will not be enough to bring our state back to how it was. The floods have damaged property, taken lives, but our spirits still remain high. We can make the change.
I will be going to India in 2 weeks and plan to use the money collected to help the poor and the needy, specially the slums near saidapet and adyar get back the life, their homes that they have lost in the floods. These funds will be used for who so ever is in need of it who has been affected by these floods.
I am yet in the process of reaching out to NGO's but will do so as soon as possible. Even your smallest of contributions can make a huge difference.
I urge everyone of you to come together and help as many people as possible. Please spread the word and lets make this campaign a success and uplift the lives of as many people as possible.
