Charlie F. Wilson Scholarship Fund
Donation protected
Charlie F. Wilson, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grand father and friend to many, passed away from Alzheimer's on November 25, 2016. He was 86 years old and lived a full life of service, exploration, and education. With only a limited education, Charlie F. Wilson pushed the importance of gaining as much knowledge as possible and pursuing higher education degrees to his family and loved ones. As a result, Charlie F. Wilson got to see his children and grandchildren graduate with degrees from Howard, Harvard, VCU, Frostburg, Spelman, Morehouse, The Ohio State University, Hampton, University of MD - College Park, Indiana University, GWU, University of Wisconsin, Lincoln University, Philadelphia University and the Navy.
To honor our beloved Charlie F. Wilson, his granddaughter and radio personality in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area, Angie Ange of 93.9 WKYS, has started a special scholarship fund in his name via her non-profit organization College Is Cool, Inc. (a 501 c3 organization) to provide financial assistance to students attending and continuing their college education. All money raised will go towards the college education of deserving students in the D.C.-metropolitan area and abroad.
