Charlie Sr. was involved in a work related accident at the Sawmill yesterday. After getting assistance from the Riggins EMS, McCall EMS and the Life Flight crew he was admitted into St. Alphonsus. He had a quite extensive surgery last night and came out with great reports. Although there was massive damage done to his leg the bone, tendons and major arteries were all missed. Charlie and his family have a long road to full recovery, please keep them in your prayers.

Yesterday Charlie had his skin graph surgery. Everything went well, they were able to take skin from his left thigh to cover his wound on his right leg. Both legs are wrapped, so we haven't seen the result yet. He will be staying at St. Alphonsus hospital for the next few days while the skin graphs takes hold, if it is successful he will be able to go home on Sunday. As Charlie's wife I would like to say thank you for all the support and money given. It has taken away a tremendous amount of stress from me and my family of what could have been an almost impossible situation. No amount of words could possibly express how thankful we are for everyone's generosity.

Charlie was sent back to Boise because McCall thought he might have an infection but after getting in at Boise they checked it out, cleaned it up and decided that he could go home. He stayed in Boise and went back in this morning. They took out stitches and believe that he is doing good.

We made it home! Boy did that drive suck, foggy most of the way. I've git Charlie all situated in his bed with everything at a arms reach( well Chevelle did most of that). I've taken to ibuprofen and I'm going to crash. It will be nice to not get woken up every two hours. We are going to try to make it to some of the basketball game tomorrow.

The wound vac change went well. Dr. said we could leave at noon, only problem is the appliance for the wound vac hasn't showed up yet. Oh, and also I'm sick. Woke up néeding to throw up. It's going to be a fun ride home. We will be taking Chevelle to get her knee looked at, the appointment is later this afternoon, so it will be late when we get home. Thankfully the weather looks good, so roads should be fine.
