Harold Reese Jr is fundraising

Harold Glenn Reese Sr. Memorial Scholarship
This campaign is to raise money for the Harold Glenn Reese Sr Memorial Scholarship Fund. This fund is designated to provide scholarships for graduating high school seniors, to assist with their attendence at a 4-year university. Harold was a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. and always encouraged everyone he met to continue their education, never stop learning and always try to better themselves and others around them. Harold’s sons, Harold Jr and Brian were beneficiaries of a scholarship from the Zeta Tau Foundation in high school that helped to make their dreams of college a reality. The Reese Family could think of no better way to honor his memory than to partner with the Zeta Tau Foundation to establish a scholarship that can make college a reality for many other young people for years to come.
We appreciate all tax deductible donations, no matter how small! Please help us in our mission to honor Harold's memory and encourage continuing education for our young people.
Harold Glenn Reese, Sr., was born August 18, 1952 in St. Louis, MO, son of Irving Reese and Ethel Drake. He gained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business from Fisk University where he met his future wife Galene Lynch. After graduating from Fisk, Harold moved to Los Angeles, California to pursue his career in banking. He married Galene on May 25, 1985 in Los Angeles and together they raised two sons, Glenn and Brian. He led a successful career as a Banker, Manager, Husband, and Father. In 1990 the Reese Family relocated to Pasadena, CA where Harold served on the Omega Psi Phi Scholarship Committe as well as founded the Annual RoseBowl Fathers Day Walk.
Harold was an open ear for many, willing to hear anyone’s problems and lend advice. He was always willing to offer solutions to any problem he was faced with, because he truly believed that with enough minds behind a cause nothing was impossible. He believed we all have the responsibility to educate each other; and only through knowledge can our future generations be successful.
