Sydney's Life at Stake: Surgery Required
This is Sydney. He was found on the streets in Yuma, Arizona.

It was noticed he was very thin and was taken to the vet for exams. The vet felt his stomach and was shocked by what she found. All his intestines were pushed up into his chest against his lungs.

He hacks from the pressure against his lungs. The equipment and surgical expertise were not found locally in Yuma, so the vet made calls to Phoenix and found a surgeon to see him. On April 22nd, 2025, is Sydney's first appointment. If his diaphragm is not there, they can make one out of mesh as a replacement. This surgery is urgent; the vets feel he won't survive 6 months.

He has a home to go to with lots of care and love and should live a much longer and happier life.

The Mission of this Corporation shall be:to use all donations and income to assist and coordinate with authorities and other agencies, educate the public, and advocate for, locate, protect, rescue, foster and find sanctuary or homes for all lost or stolen animals, domestic, farm, feral, wild, or any other classification. To provide a safe place with appropriate care until the proper authority, owner, or a suitable rescue, sanctuary, or other permanent placement can be made.This is who we are, and what we do. We are your neighbors, and it's all about working with all our heart and soul to make life happier and safer for all our animals all over Yuma County, and Arizona.
