Hi, I’m Janea Sizemore, founder of Your Perfect Footwear Foundation, a Las Vegas-based nonprofit dedicated to uplifting underserved youth through shoes, education, and empowerment.
I care deeply about equity, access, and opportunity—especially for students who are often overlooked or under-resourced. Through my work, I’m committed to helping youth build confidence, academic success, and belief in their future.
Too many children in our community face barriers that limit their potential—from financial hardship to the lack of basic support. At Your Perfect Footwear Foundation, we’re working to change that—one student, one pair of shoes, and one empowering experience at a time.
Why We’re Raising $30,000
This fundraiser will directly support three critical areas of impact:
1. RISE UP: School Transformation at Future Edge Academy
We’re helping a 2-star Title I school reach 5-star status by funding:
A new school library
A full sneaker incentive event
A formal Sneaker Ball celebrating student achievement
School wall painting & beautification
Uniforms and gear for the football team
2. Program Expansion to More Schools
Shoe giveaways for students hitting academic & behavior goals
Literacy support and celebration events
3. Launching & Expanding Afterschool Programs
Books & Banks – A financial literacy and workforce readiness program for high school students
Step Into Storytime Book Club – A creative literacy and writing program for 3rd–5th graders, including a podcast project
Mentorship & Leadership – Engaging students with role models and community leaders who inspire growth
