YSGA Annual Thanksgiving Turkey Drive
Dear Young Scholars Community,
YSGA serves 14 different school districts in Allegheny County. The majority of our students are from McKeesport, Clairton, and Duquesne. YSGA is thankful for all of your support and commitment to the success of Young Scholars. During our continued changes and adjustment going back to school, you have handled the demands that none of us could have ever anticipated. Our success has been all because of the strong positive bond between our staff, families, community, and business partners over the years. To give back, we want to provide a great Thanksgiving holiday season for all of our Young Scholars' families.
The purpose of our Annual Turkey Drive is to support our families. For many of our YSGA families, having a Thanksgiving turkey may not be financially possible. We hope to raise enough money to purchase a turkey for those families before the Thanksgiving break so that everyone can enjoy a wonderful Thanksgiving. YSGA teachers and staff volunteer to deliver the turkeys the weekend before Thanksgiving! Any amount will help us reach our goal, and we appreciate your help and support! Please support the event to make it another successful year!
