About Young New Yorkers' Chorus
The Young New Yorkers' Chorus fosters the art of choral singing among young people and, by providing opportunities for contemporary young composers, brings new music to life. Currently in its 18th (Mixed) & 7th (Women's) seasons, the Young New Yorkers' Chorus (YNYC) brings together the finest choral musicians from the tens of thousands of young people who flock to the City for its excitement, art, and culture. YNYC is a unique post-collegiate community choir, comprised of talented singers in their twenties and thirties who make up the two ensembles. YNYC exposes its large and devoted audience to the transcendent beauty of the choral art.
