The Young Israel of West Hempstead is a Jewish Orthodox synagogue located in Western Nassau County of Long Island NY.  YIWH provides minyanim, shiurim, social and chesed programming to our 700+ family members as well as those in the greater West Hempstead area, going back to the mid 1950s. Rabbi Yehuda Kelemer has been our spiritual leader since 1983, and Rabbi Josh Goller joined us as the Assistant Rabbi in 2013.
