We’ve all heard the heartbreaking news coming from Haiti—the escalating violence, the struggles of daily life, and the overwhelming sense of despair. Yet, in the midst of this darkness, there are still those who are committed to making a difference. The faithful people of Christ are working tirelessly to restore hope by building schools, churches, and spreading the Gospel. They believe that by transforming their small communities, they can spark a positive change that will ripple across the entire nation.

One such community is Grand-Pré, located in the Commune of Quartier-Morin in northern Haiti. The Mont du Calvaire Baptist Church has been dedicated to building a larger, more functional sanctuary since 2006. However, the ongoing economic challenges in Haiti have made it difficult for the local congregation to complete this important project.

The church is now nearing completion, with the final step being the installation of the roof. Once this is done, the people of Grand-Pré will have a place of worship that offers comfort, safety, and a space for spiritual growth.
