Nurturing & Preserving Our Sacred Space
Dear Ashram Friends,
In preparation for Ananda Ashram’s 60th Anniversary celebration this year, your generous donations enabled us to complete several key projects, including renovation of the Main House stairs and walkway, septic tank replacement at Sapphire House and power washing of the Blue Sky Center! Thank You!
However, significant needs remain, including:
*Installation of a UV water purification system at Panini House, approximately $7,000,
*Staining of the recently power washed Blue Sky Center,
*Painting and renovation of our Newman House guest building,
*Replenishment of our financial reserves to meet next winter's utility bills - $50,000.
The Yoga Society of New York has a vision for the future, and with your generous support, we can ensure that Ananda Ashram continues to flourish. As the Ashram enters its 61st year, this is a perfect opportunity to come together as a community and raise the funds for these essential projects.
I trust this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. With great gratitude we say THANK YOU to our cherished community for support during a critical time. Some donations have gone straight through to the Ashram website.
Our Income and Operating account reserves have been dwindling, and our expenses are still soaring. Our Winter Reserve is nearly depleted, and while we have managed to allocate funds wisely, we still find ourselves facing unforeseen and substantial expenses.
Despite these challenges, we have a vision for the future, and with your continued generous support, we have ensured that the Main House, the heart of our Ashram, continues to flourish. Guruji's teachings, the Cosmic Temple, and the Temple of Light all find their home in this sacred space.
With the glorious Ashram Summer underway, we see this as a perfect opportunity to come together as a community and raise the rest of the funds needed for these listed above essential projects.

- Attend Holiday Celebrations or other auspicious offerings during the Summer special programs.
- Consider making a donation to our cause.
Special Recognition for Your Support:
- For a donation of $1,000, receive "Essential Quotes from Writings by Shri Brahmananda Sarasvati." Plus a complimentary 1-night Stay at the Ashram.
- For a generous donation of $2,000, receive 'Essential Quotes from Writings by Shri Bhahmananda Sarasvati" and "Incarnation of Avatara" by Shri Bhamananda Sarasvati, plus a complimentary 2-night Stay at the Ashram.

These are the apartments as they stand right now. As you can see, they are quite run down and are in need of serious repair.
This is a blueprint of the new apartment that Guruji is to receive. There is more space for him and his family to live comfortably.
