More About Elana:

Elana was rescued from Harris County Pets in Houston, TX. She was set to be euthanized, but Yoga Animals Rescue Foundation Stepped in to save her with the help of a donor who paid her transport to Colorado. YARF got Elana fixed, microchipped and ready for adoption, when she started to suddenly show she had a limp. Likely she is comfortable now to show her weakness, knowing she will get the care she needs for her injury, rather than picked on by the other animals in the shelter!

She is so very sweet and the happiest dog you’ll meet with a sweet smile and a loving tale wag she will melt your heart. Good with other dogs with a proper introduction as all dogs should have, loves people, even strangers and especially adores men. Loves Fetch and Long Walks, would enjoy a hike and loves the snow! Super cuddle queen and an absolute joy in the world!

Yoga Animals is committed to the care of this precious girl, but need your help to pay for her unexpected surgery costs. She is now with a loving foster that adores her and will be happy to have her back after the holiday. Help Us Provide More Yoga Mats for Rescue Puppy Yoga Events!

At Rescue Puppy Yoga, our mission is to combine the joy of yoga with the love of animals, all while supporting local rescues. Our goal is to find great homes for our great rescue dogs. We partner with incredible rescue organizations around the Denver Metro to bring unique yoga classes where the main focus isn’t just on yoga, but on the dogs themselves.

When you join one of our sessions, you’re not just practicing downward dog—you’re giving love and care to puppies who desperately need it. While doing actual yoga is totally optional, your interaction with these animals is invaluable. Your affection helps teach them how to give and receive love, making every session a service to them, and to us.

Why We Need Your Help:

We are raising funds to purchase additional yoga mats for our events. Whether you can contribute a small donation or you have a gently used yoga mat you’d like to give, every bit helps. Having more mats will allow us to accommodate more participants, which means more love and support for the dogs.

Where Your Donations from Events Go:

Proceeds and donations go directly to our partner rescues, helping to cover food, medical care, and other essential needs.

Some of that also goes to our "hard cases" fund, dedicated to dogs that need extra medical attention due to illness or injury.

Your support—whether through a financial donation or a yoga mat—will directly impact the lives of these animals. With your help, we can continue to create a safe, loving environment for both our participants and the dogs who need us most.

Adopt or Foster: No Pressure, Just Possibility

While our primary goal is to create a fun and supportive environment for you and the dogs during our yoga sessions, we also want to share that there’s an opportunity to make an even bigger impact. There’s no pressure, but if you feel a connection with one of our furry friends, you can consider adopting or fostering.

Fostering is completely free to you. We provide everything you need—food, toys, crates, and vetting. Even if you can only foster for a weekend, it makes a huge difference. The more fosters we have, the more dogs we can rescue and save. By opening your home, even temporarily, you’re giving these dogs a chance at a better life.

Yoga Animals Rescue Foundation (YARF) is raising funds to cover the unexpected cost of Kenny needing to get stitches! He recently had a little accident with glass and had to go to the vet to get stitches, and right before his adoption too! Help us raise the funds to cover his vet bill and get Kenny ready to go to his forever home <3

Foster Application

Yoga Animal's Rescue Foundation has rescues a sweet and loving dog Named Kenny from the Euthanasia Floor at Harris County Pets in Houston, TX. He is a super happy dog and has no aggression, but had no bounds for his love fresh out of the shelter. He was just a big 65lb puppy who never got the training he heeded. Kenny initially went to a very experienced foster, but was a bit too much to handle.

In order to truly save Kenny's life and heart we have sent him with Oscar at Ruff Tails Training for a month of board and train! We have been able to cover the deposit with initial donations, but we still need to raise $1500 for his continued training. Please consider giving anything to set Kenny up for success and a future forever home in 2025!
