We are a new restaurant and bar on State Street, New Haven, called the Crooked Goat. We are hosting a hot wing eating challenge in honor of the New Haven Fire Department. All the proceeds we are giving to Connecticut Burn Center, in honor of the New Haven Fire Department and our bar, the Crooked Goat. The hot wing challenge will be held on Monday, May 12, 2025 at 974 State St. at the Crooked Goat in New Haven at 8:00 budget style food.

This event is in honor of our first responders. It's a $30 donation to attend the challenge. Anyone can join the challenge if they would like. The challenge will be four tenders with different sauces of the hottest peppers in the world. There will be food donated to do a buffet-style event for anyone not participating. The winner of the challenge will have the final hot sauce named after them and win a t-shirt, hat, and also a drink of choice.

We are the Friends of Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital’s (YNHCH) Junior Board and our goal is to raise $10,000 through a fun and interactive fundraiser. For this event, contestants will be making teams of 3 (our goal is 25 of them) to row in a distance event on ergs at the Westport Row House. Contestants will compete to row the farthest on the machines in 30 minutes (10 minutes per person). After the entry fee of $10 which accounts for the rowing machines, contestants are to reach out to friends and family to donate money to this GoFundMe. Teams who raise the most money will be granted fun prizes such as Yankees tickets, signed Knicks items, gift baskets and more. All funds go directly to the Yale New Haven Hospital. Please donate to benefit the children who truly need the funds at the hospital.
