Sigma Alpha Epsilon Ky Beta is fundraising
ΣΑΕ Running For Relief
November 4th, the Western Kentucky University football team will be playing at Vanderbilt Stadium. The gentlemen of Sigma Alpha Epsilon will be running a WKU football 70 miles from Bowling Green to Nashville to raise funds for World Bicycle Relief, and to support our fellow Hilltoppers. The trip will be made by 23 active brothers. A pair will run the ball for the entirety of the trip, taking shifts as needed. A van will be following behind.
World Bicycle Relief is a non-profit organization which sends aid to those in poverty by supplying bicycles to communities that have no other means of transportation. As of June 7th of this year, WBR has distributed over 350,000 bicycles worldwide. Running 11 hours from Bowling Green to Nashville is a very small distance compared to a lifetime of walking miles everyday to get an education, go to work, etc. Any donation will give vital aid to children in need.
And of course, GO TOPS! Everyone be sure to come out and watch Western Kentucky beat Vandy November 4th! (Kickoff time: TBD)
