America is a walking human rights violation. We women are in need of aid. In 2022, we reverted back when we overturned Roe v. Wade, and we've gone back even farther now.

I'm lucky enough to live in a state that supports women's rights, but many are not. This is to aid those who need the medical care they deserve.

We are Two Steps Forward; a pro-choice coalition committed to restoring reproductive justice based out of San Diego, California.

We believe there’s never been a more critical time to protect and expand reproductive health care access in our country.

At Kindbody, access to healthcare is our North Star and patient-centered care is the foundation on which our company was built. As reproductive healthcare providers, our position is that all people have a right to patient privacy and autonomy over their own bodies. Every person should be free to choose if and when they become a parent. In honor of the commitment of our team to both providing and protecting reproductive health care in America, we are raising money for Women’s Reproductive Rights Assistance Project (WRRAP). WRRAP is a non-partisan, nonprofit organization that assists women who are unable to pay for abortions or emergency contraceptives. WRRAP helps connect people with qualified, reputable reproductive health clinics across America to provide these services. We are honored to help this organization continue to provide access to these essential healthcare services. Kindbody will be matching up to $5000 in employee contributions through Labor Day.

As we grieve the death of bodily autonomy for people with uteruses countrywide, we want to transform our sadness into action. As community health providers who grew up in the Ojai Valley, we turn to our community to take positive collective action. To that end, please help us in supporting organizations such as WRRAP working to distribute emergency funds to abortion clinics across the states most impacted.

We are not okay. But we are focused, energized, and committed to doing hard things.

We're rallying like it's 1973 and throwing our support behind L.A.-based Women's Reproductive Rights Assistance Project. WRRAP was founded by a woman who, in 1969, watched a dear friend hemorrhage and almost die after an illegal abortion. A leader for more than 30 years in the nonprofit reproductive-care space, WRRAP operates with vision, efficiency, and open-hearted compassion.

'To say I was enraged and heartbroken with SCOTUS decision to overturn Roe vs Wade ...would be an understatement.

 

I grew up during our fight and win for abortion care. I knew women who had been hurt by their attempts to get illegal abortions. In one case, the woman was so terrified by pregnancy with a married man that she attempted to abort herself. She failed, and she and her little boy were pariahs in their small, religious community. I had my own close calls over the years, but by then, abortion was legal.

 

Abortion was one of the most challenging and complex choices anyone could ever make, but it was something that would save your future and that of those who cared for you, and it was your choice.

 

And now this . . . betrayal. Bigotry. Lack of care or mercy for human beings caught in traps. Outsiders are taking it upon themselves to govern the lives of those who should be the only ones to make these vital choices. Those who try to rule others must be stopped--but until they are, let us help those who need abortion care NOW.

Hello, my name is Tiffany and I started this GOFUNDME for the pro-choice movement. With your on going support foundations like the one I chose will be able to educate, raise money, and advocate for this important cause. This issue is important because I feel this has truly gotten out of hand. Our government should not be telling us what to do with our bodies. Individuals should be able to make these kinds of decisions on their own. In recent years many women have been punished for needing an abortion or seeking out help from hospitals or other places that should be safe for them to go to. However, if we take these rights away then more of these individuals will need treatment and could possibly die. More deaths is not what this world needs. Please join me in helping this cause.
