Women’s Empowerment Coalition of NYC

Through education, storytelling, leadership development and community organizing, the Women’s Empowerment Coalition of New York City (WECNYC) helps immigrant women help themselves and become informed participants in our democracy. We build intergenerational solidarity among women from across marginalized immigrant groups, and create formidable leaders in the fights for immigrant rights, women’s rights, and racial, social and economic justice.

We have a new home in Southern Brooklyn, creating a safe private space to come together for classes, workshops, community support, give aways direct service delivery and so much more. Please give what you can to help up make our space comfortable. You can also purchase items from our list here.
