From life on the end of chain to a life of tea and scones, Brinda has been given a once in a lifetime opportunity.
Brinda was rescued with 27 others from a hoarding situation in Dothan, Alabama. While others went on transports to find their forever homes, Brinda had to hang back to learn how to become a dog instead of a yard ornament. That poor baby was shut down and unsure of the world as she was used to always have a chain attached. It took a lot of patience and consistency to convince her not all humans are bad.
When she arrived she received much overdue vetting and treatment for heartworms. After all that was done, she moved in with one of WAG’s best fosters. Famous for getting the shy ones out of their shell. There she has blossomed into a completely different dog. Her foster mom is originally from across the pond where she is followed by many friends on social media. A hometown friend of hers fell in love with Brinda.
She has had no local adoption interest so we decided to try and make this international adoption happen. Here in south Alabama she is just another brindle dog. A shy one at that. To often people are not able or willing look past that and can not see the happy, eager to love dog that we see. However Kelly could and did and is willing to provide Brinda with the best home possible.
Please help WAG get Brinda to Britain!!
