The Wilson Parrot flock needs your help!
My name is Victoria and I am the Vice President at The Wilson Parrot Foundation! We are looking to raise funds for a couple of big projects.
We need to redo our entire kitchen. It’s made for humans - not for parrots. And it has made it to today where it functions but it’s falling apart. We need to redo our floor. The kitchen cabinets and sinks need to be steel. The birds have had a field day with our wood cabinets over the years and they are on their last straw. The walls will need paint and the door that is in there needs to be replaced. It’s also seen much better days.
Also, we need to raise funds for a new door in aviary 4. It is a custom door as it is not a normal size. We want the door to be glass so the birds can see outside. Also, the door needs to be steel or metal to prevent from the birds chewing on it and because of the power washing daily - we can’t afford to let it rust.
lastly, we need to get the driveway fixed. There are cracks and indents that need to be fixed.
Brian (the founder) is getting older and is hoping to have the aviary’s in top shape for the future.
