April 2026 Update
We are deeply grateful for your past support, which has been essential to our success. Like so many other community groups these days, we find ourselves in dire need of funding assistance. Grants and private donations have always been our mainstay. Lately, however, grants and corporate donation programs are thinning out and donations are drying up as people are not sure about their own financial stability. As we look forward to our 2026 summer strings session, we request your continued support.
Your contributions will help us continue our Annual Summer Strings Workshop which is non-conducted and free to all participants and attending audience members. Many of the musicians are part of the Westside Community and Youth Orchestra whose ages range from 14 to 92.
Your contributions will help pay for the rental of our rehearsal hall, 2026 music, advertising, program printing, and our Artistic Director/Workshop Leader. In addition to supporting our upcoming summer program, we are currently raising funds to purchase a gong for our passionate percussion section, and this will be an important component of pieces planned for next year’s season. Thank you for considering a gift to help us reach these new goals.
