Sahara Marathon 2026 to support the Growing Hope Project
A family of six of us are travelling to the Sahrawi Refugee Camps in south west Algeria.
We are entering the Sahara Marathon that is held every year.
Luke is running the full marathon and the rest of us are dressing up as vegetables and will run and walk the 10km.
Why vegetables?
Because we are doing this to raise money to support the Growing Hope Vegetable Project which you can find out about in this video if you wish
Growing Hope in The Sahrawi Refugee Camps
The WESTERN SAHARA SUPPORT GROUP is a charity which aims to prevent or relieve poverty of the Sahrawi people by supporting the sustainable development of vegetable production in the Camps and a greater self-sufficiency in food production. Find out more about WSSG on our website
