THE WELLNESS EXPERIMENT

Hi! I'm Jill Divine, and I started a non-profit called The Wellness Experiment (TWE). If you view the short video above, you can hear what my plans are! I am an official 501c3 organization. After working for ten years in a jail based Recovery program, I decided to start this corporation because I believe the arts, especially poetry, save lives. My goal is to teach poetry in jails, prisons and recovery facilities. I have the contacts, motivation and knowledge to be successful, and this endeavor is truly where my heart resides. I will use any donations to buy books and notebooks for my students, cover costs to get to where I need to go, and provide a stipend for both necessary teaching supplies, and the time I'm actually in a classroom.

TWE Mission Statement - To give hope, facilitate change, and enhance the condition of living through the practice of writing and other creative endeavors, in a compassionate setting. Serving diverse communities, especially former and currently incarcerated children and adults, those struggling in addiction and/or living in recovery.
