Urgent Help for Max's Medical Bills
We are raising funds to cover Max and his medical bills. He was shot as he was out running a neighborhood and chasing someone’s chickens. This is not his fault it is his owners.

it was three days before we were able to help Max as he could not be found.

Maybel Ann was hurt and nearly died

This sweet girl was hurt (I can not give specifics) we are grateful we were able to get her to Blue Mountain Vet then transferred to AETC in Poulsbo. She spent 3 nights at emergency and had surgery. Her owner was in CA celebrating her daughter’s birthday with family. Maybel had been left at a boarding facility, that is all we know until we got her off the street and to the vet.
We have covered the bill because if we didn’t this dog would have died. Please help us replenish our emergency fund.

WAG's purpose is to protect dogs from neglect, abuse and exploitation, to advocate for their welfare, and to find permanent, loving and safe homes for the dogs in our care. The Santo Fund - For lost and abandoned dogs in Clallam Co.
The Santo Fund supports lost and abandoned dogs in Clallam County by placing them in WAG foster homes. The fund pays for vet bills, and all the needs of a foster.

The Santo Fund was developed by WAG in

response to the Clallam county state of

emergency with dogs after our Humane

Society (Olympic Peninsula Humane Society)

closed due to lack of funding in August 2024.

This caused a crisis because suddenly

there is nowhere to take

lost and abandoned dogs in Clallam county.

Santo was a sweet German Shepherd pup who was found up at the top of the Palo Alto Road in Sequim suffering with a major skin infection, ear infections, and looking like a very very old. It turned out, he was just one year old. He was covered in mange.

He was is tremendous pain. Our community came together for Santo and raised $3000

for his vet care and fostercare care needs

in about 10 days.

The Santo Fund continues to

raise funds for WAG and

continues to help

dogs in crisis

In Clallam county.

A wonderful foster family

came forward to care for Santo.

He was placed in foster care

through WAG so that

he could heal. He is now doing

very well and is loved and cherished!

Casey, Spirit and Theodore
We decided to combine this years rescues so far into one go fund me.

1 - Casey the Great Dane about a year old, was found having been shot in the head, his jaw will require surgery removing the damaged parts, he also only weigh 73 when he should be 150 pounds. He needs to get healthy before surgery. ($unknown)

2 - Spirit was relinquished to a local vet, he had a broken pelvis and leg, he is only 5 months old. He has had surgery and is in a foster home.($8,300)

3 - Theodore was about 3 months old when he was found in the forest, his rear leg broken in two places. He has had his surgery and is up for adoption (7,000)
