Weingart Center for the Homeless

Hello, my name is Miguel Aguilar( Mr. Aguilar to my students) and I am an 8th grade English Teacher at Los Angeles Academy Middle School. This semester, my students have focused on trying to change the world by focusing on an important issue they believe deserves an immediate solution. I am sponsoring my student Dania by helping them create this GoFundMe. I will let Dania describe their goals:

My name is Dania and I am a teenager currently living in Los Angeles where homelessness has consumed our environment. My goal is to raise $10,000 to help homeless people get housing, jobs and rehabilitation. It is unfortunate that we live in a world where many people are homeless and don't have opportunities to heal and care for themselves. I will accomplish this by raising money on GoFundMe, supporting an organization called Weingart Center. This organization helps provide homeless people with permanent housing.
