Wayne Central Little League after recently completing renovations and updates, experienced detrimental flooding and destruction to their facilities. Without even being able to assess the severity of the damages, we can already see that we have lost the majority of our fencing on all 3 fields. Large logs came through the flood waters and crushed the fences, leaving them destroyed. We haven’t been able to see what other damages have been made to the facilities, but are are expecting them to be major. Our season is quickly approaching and we have done our best so far this year to get the fields and the facilities ready, but this is going to add a large majority of work and expenses that will need to be completed quickly, as try outs are two weeks away and practices beginning just days after that. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated and will allow us to make the necessary repairs in a quick and timely manor to get the fields ready and safe for the players for this upcoming season!
