Help Mudslide Victims in Peru!

Please help us provide safe drinking water to families suffering in Peru.

On March 15th, Peru was hit with the worst mudslides in their history, killing at least 85 children/adults and destroying/damaging close to 800,000 homes; leaving thousands of families without anything. 

... they have lost everything!


Tens of thousands of children and adults are waking up each day right now without access to safe drinking water. One of the biggest killers of small children from the flooding will be Diarrhea and Cholera, caused by the contaminated water.

Please help us get our life-saving water filters to these precious lives!


We have partners on the ground in Lima, Peru waiting to receive the water filters so they can get them to the worst hit areas ASAP! The clock is ticking! 

We will air freight the filters to our partners so they can get them ASAP! We will quickly wire funds to our partners so they can purchase the needed 5 gal buckets needed for each filter.

Our partners will be providing us with photos and stories of how many filters we send them, where the filters are being distributed and how many children/family members have safe drinking water from your donations. We will be updating this campaign with this info, so each of you can see how your caring, loving hearts are helping the suffering in Peru!

Our cost for each filter is $20 and each 5 gal bucket costs $8 in Peru...so $28 covers the cost of each filter setup. 

100% of all donations will go towards the cost of the filters and buckets ... (we have funding to cover the shipping costs)

Our goal is 700 filters @ $20 each + 700 buckets at $8 each = Total cost $19,600.

Water for Life

We are Water For Life , a 501c3 non-profit based in San Diego, CA. 

In the past 5 years , we have sent over 4500 of our water filters to 16 countries, we are funding wells for Kenya, and assisted in all types of water relief projects in developing countries as well as offered relief to flood victims in the United States.

We are currently raising money to offer relief to Hurricane Matthew victims in Haiti and Caribbean countries. Your contribution will go directly to delivering water filters for Haiti, a country still on the mend from a 7.0 magnitude earthquake in 2010 that left 1.5million homeless .

Hurricane Matthew has already taken 800 lives  in just a few short days with that number expected to rise.  

Water for Life is raising funds to supply water filters  through our two main partners who are currently on the ground in Haiti. Those two main partners are Filter of Hope, who are focusing on families in the Lupin Area of Haiti, and Mission of Hope, who are focusing on the families in the Dame Marie regions.

The goal is to provide filters to families who are stranded or trapped as a result of the hurricane and are now unable to get water from a safe water source.

Cholera is the biggest threat to life in these types of disasters where contaminated water worsens as it stagnates. There are already cases being reported at local clinics.

The need for your contribution is immediate. In water disaster situations, the quicker the people are able to filter contaminated water , the greater the chance of saving lives.

100% of all donations for this project, will go towards supplying our life saving water filters so that thousands of children and families have safe drinking water.

Unlike large organizations and other NGOs, 100% of your donation goes to water filters. We cover all overhead through other means.
