Washington Square West Civic Association

The purposes of the Washington Square West Civic Association shall be to foster, protect and promote the welfare of that section of the City of Philadelphia, bounded by the east side of Seventh Street, the north side of Chestnut Street, the east side of Broad Street and the north side of South Street, to maintain an organization for the improvement of conditions generally in the aforesaid area for all persons including business and professional people who work in said area of the City of Philadelphia, and to engage in such other activities as may be necessary or incidental to the exercise of any or all of the aforesaid purposes.
