Warrior Training Project

The Warrior Training Project is a prevention empowerment program. The program is to help children and youth from low-income families with substance abuse prevention through sports and martial arts. Our NON-Profit program is geared to build our prevention programs through constructive relationships while using Martial Arts Training, financial literacy, mentoring and so much more. Our youth need places like our organization to help them reach goals for their future that keep them off the streets and becoming positive members of society. We are looking to provide them with essential tools for their success. The Warrior Training Project is accepting donations that will go directly to uniforms, equipment, transportation, instructors and educational material for our youth!

Prevention for youth in any alternative activity that decreases the social acceptability of substance misuse/abuse. In Newark, Delaware MVJ Athletics Training Center is now offering the Warrior Training Project which provides prevention and mentorship for children, youth and families. This excellent organization needs your help in meeting the needs of the community. We need your help in providing and promoting community-based organizations, parental engagement and community partners so our children can have the brightest futures possible. Your donations will help us to reach these goals and more.

The Warrior Training Project is filled with pride and excitement to share that our dedicated young boxers will be competing at the Regional Silver Gloves Championship. After their remarkable achievement at the Delaware State Silver Gloves Championship, these inspiring kids now have the opportunity to travel from state to state to showcase their skills at the Regional Silver Gloves Championship in 2025. Their hard work and determination have truly shone through, and they are eager to take this significant step toward their dreams of competing nationally.

We are reaching out to you today on behalf of this incredible young man that represents the Warrior Training Project at MVJ Athletics training center and his coach, Sensei Greg Pritchett. The Warrior Training Project is a prevention empowerment program. The program is to help children and youth from low-income families with substance abuse prevention through sports and martial arts. Our NON-Profit program is geared to build our prevention programs through constructive relationships while using Martial Arts Training, financial literacy, mentoring and so much more.

Giovani, his coach and his parents have been training tirelessly for years in pursuit of Gio's dreams to represent the United States in Boxing. Giovanni Monroy has parents who are always at every event. Giovani has several sparring partners who are all nationally ranked children and we feel Gio deserves his chance to represent the United States and show all how hard work and dedication have their rewards.

Gio (10 years old) is a super-talented boxer who has a burning desire to train and compete. Gio was introduced to boxing by watching his father train since he was a young toddler. He has an incredible work ethic, dedicating countless hours to perfecting his craft in the ring and outside the sport. All while being a student-athlete and leading among his peers. Now he has an opportunity to participate in the USA Nationals in Lubbock, Texas June 3-10th potentially earning a ranking and future spot on the USA National team, but we need the help to get there.

As you may know, participating in National tournaments requires a tremendous amount of funding. Travel expenses, lodging, training, and equipment costs can quickly add up, making it nearly impossible for athletes from diverse income backgrounds to pursue their dreams. That's why we are asking for your support in helping this talented young man to fulfill their Olympic dreams.

Every donation, no matter how small, will make a difference. Your contribution will help cover the costs associated with participating in the nationals, such as travel expenses, lodging, and training fees for them and the coaching staff to have a Good stay. Your generosity will allow these young athletes a chance to compete with the nation's best boxers and to perform at the highest level during the tournament.
