Support Campus Advocacy and Violence Prevention
Donate now to strengthen our campus advocacy and violence prevention programs!
Campus advocacy and violence prevention are two of our fastest growing efforts that are needed to support survivors and create change across Lancaster County. Thanks to a private donor, your gift will be matched dollar for dollar. Double your impact today to make our community stronger!
At Voices of Hope, we continue to offer 24/7 advocacy to survivors at many of the college campuses in Lincoln, such as UNL and NWU. Student survivors often face additional barriers to finding support and justice, making campus advocacy an important component of the services we provide. Despite changes in our community, we strongly believe in providing this service in order to make our community safer. Join us in this mission by giving today.
Through your donation, we can support our college campuses across Lincoln in the following ways:
. Providing trauma-informed and belief-based emotional support to student, staff, and faculty survivors
. Accompanying survivors through the Title IX process in order to hold perpetrators accountable
. Meeting regularly with campus stakeholders to assess campus safety and survivor support
. Facilitating campus education and prevention sessions to athletic teams, Greek houses, residence halls, and more
Voices of Hope has also always kept the ultimate goal in mind: to end relationship and sexual violence all together. We have been doing prevention programming across Lancaster County for many years, and are encouraged to see the empowered and new generations that have developed since we started. However, we need your support to keep promoting change in our community and end relationship and sexual violence once and for all.
Your donation can make an impact on Lincoln in the following ways:
. Providing education on healthy relationships to middle school and high school students
. Hosting a panel to educate community members on laws regarding relationship and sexual violence
. Posting fliers in local bars with information on how to support a friend/family member who is a survivor
. Speaking at a rally encouraging community members to support survivors' rights
. Training groups on how to be active bystanders when witnessing relationship and sexual violence
Your gift to this matching fundraiser will boost campus advocacy and violence prevention across Lancaster County!
