Elizabeth's campaign for Visions Made Viable
Hello, my name is Elizabeth Paige. I am an American Christian and minister with In His Hands International Ministries . God got a hold of me a few years ago, when I was at one of the lowest places in my life, financially. Funny how disaster to us looks like opportunity to God. Anyway, God convicted my heart to "Do something!" for my friend, Pastor Peter Kuyuni (Salvation to Nations Ministries ), and his wife Cppline, in Kitale, Kenya, who had taken in 23 street children by faith, not knowing how God would provide, but knowing that someone needed to do something for these precious children!
Since I had adopted two of my own precious kids from the ends of the earth and know first hand the struggles these precious children face, through no fault of their own, I knew I had to "do something", although at the time, the "can't's" blared louder than the "can's". I also stepped out in faith, joining this worthy cause and allowing myself to be a vessel for God in changing these children's lives and futures for His glory.
Because of God's great love for these beautiful and precious children, most of whom were orphaned through HIV/AIDS, political violence, or simply the neglect and abandonment that comes with extreme poverty, God brought Peter and I together from the ends of the earth, and in faith, we founded Hope's House Foundation Kenya, which is a certified NGO (non-governmental organization), dedicated to helping the orphans and oppressed children of Kitale, Kenya. Peter is the "hands and feet", ministering to the children's daily needs face to face. I am the "mouthpiece", helping to get the word out to the world that there are beautiful and amazing children out there who need us to be the means by which they are showered with unconditional love, brought into the healing power of the Gospel of Christ, given nourishing and healthy food, getting them off of the dangerous streets and providing them a loving and safe home, and giving them a solid education to give them a hope and a future.
Through a grassroots effort, and the loving support of people like you, we have now grown to two orphanages, caring for 65 precious children (and growing), and a Christian school, Hope and Light Academy, which is providing top-quality education to 100 orphans and non-orphans in the Kitale, Kenya region.
We are now partnering with Visions Made Viable so that our donors and sponsors can receive tax deductions for their generous support.
