In June 1970, NFL Coach Vince Lombardi was diagnosed with colon cancer and died just 10 weeks later at age 57. In honor of his legacy, the Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation has and will continue to fund innovative research for all types of adult cancer, and pediatric cancer through the Bart & Cherry Starr Children's Fund. Since we opened our doors in 1971, we’ve raised over $22 million to deliver on this promise. With your help, we will continue to make an impact in the fight against cancer.
