Vanden Robotics Foundation

The Vanden High Robotics team, the RoboVikes, recently won the Regional Chairman's Award at the Sacramento/Davis FIRST Robotics Competition and qualify to attend the 2019 FIRST World Championships in Houston, April 17-20.  To do this they need to raise money to pay for travel expenses (airfare, hotel, etc) for up to 30 students.

By helping these students attend the World Championships, you will be furthering their STEM education in the most exciting and inspiring way possible.  Competing with and against the brightest minds from all across the world is a life changing experience. 

While we teach engineering skills through the building of a robot, the most valuable lessons go much deeper.  Our team is on a quest to further STEM education efforts in our community.  Below is a promotional video about the big picture of what FIRST robotics is really all about.
