We are the Virginia Black Business Directory (VABBD) a 501c3 community-based charitable organization. The VABBD is the largest Black Business organization in Virginia. Our mission is to advance the economic development and social equities of black business owners. We strive to bridge the racial wealth gap through community collaboration, education & training programs, and resource navigation. The work we do amplifies the exposure of small business owners and it depends on supporters like you.
Black business owners and communities are economically empowered when we invest in them. Last year our organization made an impact by recycling over $200,000 into the black community, awarding two (2) youth entrepreneur scholarships and three (3) small business grants. We are asking for your donation to assist us with reaching our fundraising goal for Q1. Your donations will allow us to continue our programs and initiatives.
Currently, our most pressing need is $4500 for a financial audit to continue to apply for grants and sponsorships.

An Expression of Admiration: Virginia House & Senate Present Resolution to the VABBD
Richmond, VA – On February 20, the Virginia General Assembly presented a resolution to the Virginia Black Business Directory (VABBD) on behalf of Black Business as an expression of admiration for the contributions of Black Owned Businesses in Virginia.
