Movie Night Fundraiser for Refugee Families in Provo

Join the Anti-Human Trafficking Club and the Social Work Student Association at UVU for a Movie Night Fundraiser to support the Utah Valley Refugee Center and help make a real difference in the lives of refugee families in our local community.

Event Details:

When: April 18th, 2025 at 7:00 PM

Where: UVU Keller Building, Room 401

Tickets: $5 per person (donate here to reserve your spot!)

All proceeds will go directly to the Utah Valley Refugee Center to help provide critical support like housing, education, language resources, and mental health services for refugee families resettling in Utah.

Help this refugee non-profit stay in business! Utah Valley Refugees serves refugees in Utah County to become self-sufficient in their new home and community. They provide help with housing, employment, healthcare, cultural orientation, and education. They need funding to keep their doors open and continue to provide services for these clients.

With the recent executive orders, funding is no longer available to support these important programs. Your donation will enable the non-profit to keep helping refugees in the Utah County area.

As best friends, we've always wanted to change the world. So, we decided that for 2 weeks, we will be SURVIVING in California on absolutely nothing, completing hilarious challenges and dares while trying to earn $10,000 for Utah Valley Refugees.
