Urban Triage

My name is Meg Baker and I am riding my bike from Salt Lake City, Utah to Madison, Wisconsin where I will start a Master's program in Agroecology this September. I know this will be an impactful experience for me. So, I hope to make this journey impactful, in some small way, for others by fundraising for Urban Triage, an amazing non-profit located in Madison. Urban Triage's mission is to "foster, develop, and strengthen Black economic power, Black families’ self-sufficiency, community leadership, advocacy, and family success through transformative education, psycho-educational, community engagement, trauma response, healing, and cultural heritage." They do this through workshops, providing community resources, and so much more, including an agricultural program. My goal is to raise about $1.00 per mile I ride.
