Urban Angels

In process of helping families in the pueblos around San Miguel, we met Roberto, 25 years old, and his young wife. Roberto was hit by a car in 2020 and had a plate implanted in his lower left leg. During Covid he did not receive proper care and the leg became infected. He could not afford very expensive surgeries needed to resolve the damage inside his leg. Now he must have it amputated. Once it heals, we will help Roberto afford a prosthetic leg so he may work and have a more normal life. He worked construction before this happened. We have found a clinic that can provide Roberto with his prosthetic leg and the necessary physical therapy for only $4000. Otherwise, this would be an impossibility for him.
