Upwind Scholarship Program Overview Our Goal: Provide ground and flight training at no cost to successful scholarship candidate(s). At the end of the intensive 9-week summer flight training program, Upwind students earn a Private Pilot certificates. Scholarship is open to high school juniors that can attend daily training for 9-weeks during the summer between their junior and senior year in high school.Objectives: (1) Promote piloting and general aviation; and (2) cultivate interest in aviation as a career.
