URGENT NEED for Memphis Animal Advocates
HELP NEEDED. I am Patricia Hurdle. Since Sunny Meadows (largest No-Kill Rescue in Memphis) had to close - I am now partnering with Memphis Animal Advocates. Dea funds this Rescue with her Retirement Fund so we are prayerfully relying on the generosity of donations!!
We have partnered with Unity for Animals to raise money for a new building that we DESPERATELY NEED. This is NOT a Want. It is a NEED.
This new building will enable us to SAFELY care for our rescues & also help Fabiola when she pulls from the Critical Murder List at MAS.
The barn currently housing a majority of our rescue dogs is literally falling apart. The heating/air does not work. The roof has many holes & water leaks are everywhere. The insulation is now practically non-existent. It would cost more to fix everything that needs to be fixed than to get this new, modest building. It is a 30x30 & has 900 sq. ft of space for our babies.
All electrical work has been donated!! The front porch will be built as a gift. The HVAC pricing has been generously lowered.
Our transport van also has no heat or air so we have not been able to take them for vetting during the horrible heat wave we endured. This is another repair NEEDED BUT the "Barn Dogs" are a priority.
