Hi everyone! My name is Isabel Hodge, the Executive Director for the United States International Council on Disabilities (USICD) and I’m raising money for USICD's new Youth Advisory Committee.
United States International Council on Disabilities
Mission: To advance international disability rights and inclusive development and to build bridges among the U.S. and foreign governments, disability and human rights communities, and the private sector through strategic advocacy, convening, and training and education.
USICD has launched something extraordinary: a Youth Advisory Committee that brings together young leaders with disabilities from across the globe. From California to North Carolina, Washington, DC to Pakistan, Australia to France—applications are pouring in from passionate changemakers ready to lead.
These young advocates are not just dreaming of a more inclusive world, they’re building it. Through USICD, they will get connected with mentors, receive tools and resources, and have the opportunity to influence USICD’s priorities and global advocacy and action.
Your donation will directly support:
- Accessibility accommodations for youth members
- Virtual leadership trainings and global convenings
- Seed funding for youth-led disability rights projects
- Technical support to ensure full inclusion across languages, formats, and time zones
This is more than a committee, it’s a movement. With your support, USICD can ensure these young leaders are not just heard but empowered toward action that creates a ripple effect -- locally, nationally, and globally.
Let’s show the world what disability-inclusive leadership looks like. Donate today and be part of a movement that’s global, intersectional, and unstoppable.
