UCC's human services offers recovery programs for men and women dealing with addiction and mental health issues. My story is that Im a recovering addict who was able to begin my life thanks to the people at UCC. I did a walk the summer of 2022 from Green Bay Wi to Cudahy Wi and raised over 17k for the street angels of Milwaukee. This time I will be walking from Lake Superior to Lake Michigan. A total of 489 miles over 20 days. I will be walking to raise money for the Human Services at the United Community Center. I have a goal of 10k but hope to make an even bigger impact on the recovery community. Let's all help make recovery a part of our loved ones story.
The dates would be Saturday August 10th until Friday August 30th with the check presentation Tuesday September 3rd 2024.
