UUCL 2021 Reverse Auction: New Pulpit
For the Reverse Auction, the Service Auction committee often selects an item of great need in our church. This year is no exception. Much like ourselves, our current pulpit has been through its trials and been worn down. However, also like our congregation, it has continued to serve, doing it's small part to make our Beloved community thrive.
It is our hope that this year, just like our congregation, the pulpit will change for the better. We see this Reverse Auction item as a symbol of our resilience in the past year and a half. By our efforts, together as a community, we can let our well-worn pulpit rest. Together, we can bring forth something new, a symbol of our strength as a church family.
As Co-Chairs for the Service Auction, we are electing that the final decision for the exact pulpit be in the hands of our Board and Rev. Brian (as he will be using it the most). We are excited to announce this Reverse Auction item, and we hope that the new pulpit we bring forth will serve UUCL well for many years to come!
