Your support today can rush warm clothes, blankets and other life-saving aid to over one million children who are barely surviving in their cold, rain-soaked tents, exposed to floods and disease. Many are injured, and thousands are malnourished. The deadly cold will only make their hunger more acute.

Hi, my name is Ruadhán. I am 7 years old. Yesterday I saw Donnacha O Callaghan doing an appeal for UNICEF, for children in Gaza. I felt like I wanted to raise money for these children. Wriggletto facilitates music and movement classes in Douglas, Cork for newborns to 5 year olds and the grown ups who love them, so children's causes are very close to our hearts. Every Christmas we open up our sessions to everyone with children under the age of 5, to come together, sing and dance and raise funds for those in need. We will sing some seasonal favourites as well as songs from the Music Together programme we use in our regular classes.

Our singalong sessions will run in the Ardfallen Centre, Douglas on Monday 1st, Wednesday 3rd, Thursday 4th and Saturday 6th December. Booking is essential as these sessions are always popular with the under 5-set! See here for more information and to book your spots! It breaks my heart to see innocent children suffering because of choices made in our world. I’ve seen parents holding their lifeless children — victims of war and famine — and I often imagine myself in their place. But I can’t truly grasp the pain they’ve endured.

Why This Matters

FACT: War continues, even after we stop watching the news.

FACT: Around 83% of those killed are innocent men, women, and children.

FACT: Many are dying from famine and preventable causes.

FACT: We can do something.

How You Can Help

To mark Faerly's 5th birthday, we're skipping the celebrations and instead we're taking on the Sea to Summit adventure race in Westport in November and raising funds for two vital causes supporting Palestine:

UNICEF's Gaza Appeal - Famine conditions remain in Gaza and continue to threaten the lives of thousands of children. Over 320,000 young children are at immediate risk of severe acute malnutrition. For over two years, families have endured relentless war, and UNICEF is delivering life-saving food, medical care, and safe water to children and families who desperately need it. As a UN agency, UNICEF has been able to deliver hundreds of trucks filled with essential supplies and continues to reach children every day, even during the worst restrictions on aid delivery.

All funds raised from our GoFundme will be donated directly to UNICEF.

Trees for Life – run by the Palestine Fair Trade Association, is a programme that supports Palestinian farmers whose land has been impacted by the occupation. Priority is given to young people and women starting out in farming. Olive tree saplings are grown in nurseries for 2-3 years before being distributed to farmers, where they'll start bearing fruit in 5-7 years and reach full maturity at around 15 years. It's about planting hope and affirming the right to land and livelihood.

All funds raised via our own website will be split between Trees for Life & UNICEF.

Faerly is an Irish online store for sustainable living with a collection of everyday items from small Irish makers and eco-conscious brands. In 2025 we celebrate 5 years in business.

With the FAI and Irish Government seemingly intent on the Republic of Ireland soccer team fulfilling their upcoming Nations Cup fixtures against Israel, this page is for those of us who want to personally boycott the fixture, due to Israel's ongoing genocide in Gaza, and continued illegal occupation of the Palestinian territories. Governments and institutions across Europe especially, and across the world have proven to be complicit in Israel's crimes, regardless of the wants, beliefs and thoughts of their citizens. This page is there to represent those citizens, and provide a place to officially condemn the inaction. By making a donation, no matter how small, we pledge to do what our Government inexplicably won't in in any way, and boycott Israel in this instance at least.

On November 2nd I'm running the Brussels marathon in aid of UNICEF Ireland to raise money for those in Gaza as Palestinians are running out of time. Gaza has been an issue close to our hearts for decades and having met so many amazing children from Gaza over

the years who came to Ireland in 2016/17 who have since been murdered or displaced by israel, we will continue to advocate for our friends in Gaza and support those being persecuted.
