Gecko needs urgent spinal surgery
After her CT scan at the Community Cancer Center we now know that Gecko needs urgent spinal surgery. She's owned by a homeless Vietnam veteran and Gecko is the light of his life. Gecko is a gentle and loving girl. She's brought Bill 10 years of joy and companionship. Without surgery VERY SOON she will need to be euthanized to stop the misery. We have been caring for Gecko at the Douglas County Low Cost Veterinary Services clinic in Roseburg, but we're not equipted for such an advanced surgery. We hope to raise enough money to pay for Gecko to travel to the Oregon State University College of Veterinary Medicine for the specialized operation.
