In Support of Magen Ephraim Sephardic Academy
As our community mourns the loss of a great pillar and visionary that was among us, Mr. Effy (Ephraim) Hematian, we all come together to support a worthy cause in his name, and for our future generations in his memory.

We owe a debt of gratitude to Mr. Hematian for his boundless philanthropy, immense energy towards Shaare Rachamim, and generous donation to the Magen Ephraim School, securing our future generations the education they deserve.

May his memory always be a blessing, and his humility, integrity, and generosity serve as an example to us all.

This campaign will contribute 100% of the proceeds collected to the Magen Ephraim Sephardic Academy Yeshiva Scholarship Fund.

Mashadi Fertility Help is fundraising
Mashadi Fertility & IVF Fund
Many young couples in our midst suffer silently navigating the complex world of fertility treatment. Some couples do not start treatment out of fear of the high medical costs that come with IVF.

Mashadi Fertility Help, a division of Mashadi Bikkur Cholim, was established to help couples navigate the medical, emotional and halachic issues of female or male fertility treatment. In cases when it's needed, we issue interest-free loans and/or grants to help couples afford the medical costs of fertility treatment.

Help fellow Mashadi couples anxiously waiting to realize their dream to have children by donating to the UMJCA - Mashadi Fertility Help Fund! ALL DONATIONS UP TO OUR $72,000 GOAL, WILL BE MATCHED 1:1 BY AN ANONYMOUS DONOR TILL END OF THIS WEEK!

Keep Our Community Open While Our Centers Are Closed

The Central Board is working hard to minimize operational expenses to the bare minimum while we get through these hard times. We also anticipate the cash flow to be pressing even when we do open in the near future. Please give what you can to keep our centers, services and essential programs supported while we work hard to keep the community together even when our doors are closed.

We encourage all those with outstanding Kavod balances to make payments. If you are paying against a past pledge, please specify the invoice number or just mention to apply to your account.

UMJCA And Affiliates is fundraising
Great Neck Kosher Food Pantry
Founded by the United Mashadi Jewish Community of America, we are proud to launch the Great Neck Kosher Food Pantry to help families in need of Kosher food. The pantry is open to all families in need in Great Neck and the surrounding towns. Since we opened the food pantry, we’ve had 400+ families each month come take groceries for themselves. We have a vetting process we follow to verify the families are truly in need and once confirmed they are able to come take perishable and nonperishable 2 times per week. Please note that this food pantry has significant logistical and overhead expenses and we need YOUR help to allow it to continue to stay open.
