The mission of U.S. Donor Conceived Council, Inc. is to inform and educate the public, the media, non-governmental organizations, elected officials and government agencies about the needs, interests, and challenges of donor conceived people and advance change that promotes and protects the health, welfare, and human rights and dignity of donor conceived people. Donor conceived people are people conceived through artificial insemination or assisted reproductive technology procedures in which sperm, egg, or embryos used in the procedures are provided by at least one third party who does not intend to become the legal parent of the people so conceived.
